Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and YA Industries LLC ("we") for your use of the Fluent Bear app and service. By using Fluent Bear you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You can use Fluent Bear as a guest or create an account with Sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. Keep access to your sign-in method secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Fluent Bear.
Availability and pricing
Fluent Bear is initially offered in the United States and is free at its initial release. We plan to introduce an optional Pro version with a monthly subscription. Before you choose a paid subscription, we will explain its features, price, billing interval, renewal terms and how to cancel. Using the free app does not sign you up for a paid subscription.
Using Fluent Bear
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app and its courses for your own learning. You agree not to copy, redistribute or resell course content, interfere with or attempt to break the service's security, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
Your content
Notes and highlights you write remain yours. You give us permission to store and sync them so the service can work for you.
Our content
Courses, audio, images and the app are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Apple
If you downloaded Fluent Bear from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support, and you may report issues to us at support@fluentbear.app.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or stop parts of Fluent Bear. We will post updated terms on this page with a new effective date; continuing to use the app after that means you accept them.
Ending your use
You can stop using Fluent Bear and delete your account in the app at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers and liability
Fluent Bear is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$50 if you paid nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
